Hey First name / friends!

I’ve been getting back into blogging recently and I’m so excited to share more juicy tips with you. My blog is filled with art tutorials, tips, and business insights and it’s pretty binge-worthy if I do say so myself! 😅

I just published a new post with 3 tips to help you decide what kinds of motifs to use when you’re designing patterns for surface design and art licensing. You can check out the new post here!

Retro Florals
I’ve been working on a 2025 trend presentation (stay tuned for that coming soon!) and one trend that continues to be popular is retro-inspired designs. This week, I thought we’d do a fun challenge featuring an evergreen trend – florals – and a current trend – a retro color palette!

Your challenge this week is to design a floral pattern using a retro color palette. You can use any palette you choose, but if you’d like a jumping off point, you can use my 70’s palette for your pattern!

Click HERE to download this palette plus 10 more in jpg and Procreate swatch format. These are royalty free for you to use. My gift to you : )
