Updates from Fonkoze
Dear Fanmi ak Zanmi, Family and Friends,
These past few months have been filled with so much excitement – celebrating in Haiti with 200 women as they graduated from CLM Haiti (click here to watch the video!), bringing Haitian art, culture, and food to Rockport, Maine and Washington, DC, and launching the We Are Fonkoze campaign  – just to name a few. Be sure to read below to learn more about these events and enjoy the photo galleries.

At the same time, Fonkoze Financial Services, the largest microcredit organization in Haiti, has had to temporarily close three branch locations due to gang activity. While we are saddened by this reality, the safety of our family in Haiti is of utmost importance to us. With love and strength, our teams in Haiti endure the difficult and dangerous conditions and choose to continue uplifting the mission of Fonkoze through their commitment.

We invite you to continue changing the narrative of Haitians and Haitian culture by sharing positive stories, voicing your support, and donating what you can.

Mesi Anpil,

We Are Fonkoze
We invite each of you to join your voice with supporters and share hope through our We Are Fonkoze - Nou Se Fonkoze campaign this Giving Tuesday as we mark Fonkoze Foundation's 30 years of impact in Haiti. We invite everyone with a story about Fonkoze, Haiti, and the women we serve, to connect with us on social media, or email, tagging @fonkoze. Help us change the narrative about Haiti and spread the word about the grassroots impact of working shoulder-to-shoulder to accompany Haitian women out of poverty.

You can learn more about the We Are Fonkoze campaign on our website. Reply to this email with your own photo in support of Fonkoze and a quote or video sharing your support to be shared during the campaign. We want to hear from you!

You can also get your very own Fonkoze merch including a canvas bag!
