Move-in Tips - Plan Your Layout: Measure your space and create a layout ahead of time to guide movers. My friend sent me photos and measurements to envision the space before I arrived.
- Unpack Essentials First: Start with basics like toiletries, chargers, and kitchen essentials to feel comfortable from day one.
- One Room at a Time: Focus on one room (like the kitchen) first to build a sense of order. This sets the tone for the rest of the home.
- Declutter Again: Release items you don't love or need as you unpack in the new space.
- Take Breaks: Moving can be exhausting! Plan breaks to enjoy your new home and recharge—I loved our daily dinners together!

Holiday Harmony Be gentle with yourself this season. While winter holidays bring joy, they can also bring challenges—seasonal affective disorder (SAD), increased feelings of grief, and the pressures of over-consumption. Remember to prioritize your well-being and make space for genuine self-care amid the festivities. |
