Patience, Practice and Perseverance; my life, particularly this year…

 

A year where I have ironically, but not coincidentally met so many new men: Aries, Taurus and Gemini.

 

All signs that have mirrored to me who I have been thus far here at Earth school: Driven, loyal, with an endless amount of ideas to share! 

 

Everything in Space works with Mathematics; Geometry makes up the Universe, and there are degrees to everything.

 

I was born when the Sun was at 21 degrees Aries.

Every 30 years, the Sun progresses which means that for the first 9 years, the fire element of Aries led my way. Then I entered my progressed Taurus phase for 30 years and have more recently entered the Gemini chapter for my next (hopeful) 30 year cycle. Fascinating right?

This is what I have been pondering lately…

 

What is your relationship with pressure? 

 

I chose a profession steeped (pun intended) in pressure! I wonder if I am the way that I am because of the way I have handled pressure, especially the last 4 years...

 

Isn’t the Earth itself under pressure? 

Is it an inherited part of our nature?

 

I don't know. But what I do know, is that this life requires practice, patience and perseverance. A practice of decisions made everyday, to either spiral up or spiral down, to sustain the pressure, learn to release the pressure, bear down with the pressure or collapse and succumb to the pressure. All have there place in time, and all require patience and perseverance. And so I ask, what is your relationship with pressure?

 

Everything we create is the sum total of everything we have learned or done before. Everything within us comes from somewhere else and what we do with it today impacts tomorrow. ‘Things’ as in, well, everything, is about to speed up. The changes of this last century were big. And what's ahead is huge. And so, I sign off and say au revoir to this dynamic, very full, extremely pressurized year that has been 2024 with the words from one of my favorite mystics, Rumi:

 

I have come to drag you out of your self

and take you into my heart.

I have come to bring out the beauty

you never knew you had

and lift you like a prayer to the sky.

If no one recognizes you, I do

because you are my life and soul.

Don't run away, accept your wounds and

let bravery be your shield.

It takes a thousand stages

for the perfect being to evolve.

Every step of the way I will walk with you

and never leave you stranded.

Be patient, do not open the lid too soon

simmer away until you are ready.

The flames from my youthful Aries Sun, sought outside of me. These flames were once scared to choose discomfort over resentment. Today these flames are wise embers settled deep within my being, super sparkly and oh so warm. I have learned that my presence alone is enough. I am no longer delaying or denying what it is I am building and desiring. The revolution has begun. It's individual. The task: learn to put your oxygen mask on first and then help as many others with theirs so that together we return to the whole BE-INGS we were born to be.  

 

And to my brilliant Gemini Sun who has patiently prepared me for this moment. 2025, I am ready and so are you. Let's keep on dreaming big.
