The Practical Kitchen's 2024 Holiday Gift Guide

Hi, hello! It's that time of year again when we're all on the hunt for gifts and great deals for ourselves and our friends and loved ones. For this year's gift guide I tried to stick to items that were new-to-me in 2024, though a few old favorites have snuck their way into the list too.

Every single item on this list is something I personally use and love, or have personally given or received as a gift. Some (but not all) of the links are affiliate links, and I've also shared my exclusive discount codes where applicable so you can be sure you're getting a great deal!

Don't forget, you can always shop my Amazon storefront for more gift ideas, I have lots of curated kitchen gear and gift guides on my site, and you can scope out my favorite cookbooks on my Bookshop.org profile!

PS — The length of this newsletter means it might get “clipped” at the end — if it does, make sure you click “view entire message” to see the rest of it. You'll know you've gotten to the end when you see the usual “YOU GOT THIS!” message.
xoxo, Rebecca
*an asterisk indicates product that was gifted to me by the brand no strings attached; I'm sharing it here only if I actually liked and used it.

More Great Gift Ideas
  • Target x Rifle Paper Co Planters - I upgraded two of my potted plants to these lovely pots this year and they are so pretty! Sturdy stoneware in beautiful patterns. I love that they have a drainage hole in the bottom too.
  • Indoor Repotting Mat - For the apartment gardener! This helps contain mess and make managing and maintaining your indoor plants a breeze.
  • Printfresh PJs and Robes - Comfy and cozy robes, PJs, nightgowns, and more in beautiful, unique prints — available up to size 5X!
  • Kizik Shoes - Yes, they are as good and easy to put on as all their ads show. I usually add arch support insoles to mine but I love that so many of their styles come in wide width!
  • Lanolips - The only lip balm I use these days. A splurge, but so worth it. It lasts forever and keeps my lips from getting chapped and cracking in the winter. (Note: It is not vegan!)
  • Bombas Gripper Slippers - Perfect for cozy winter nights and padding around the house in your PJs!
  • Aura Digital Picture Frame - We got my mom one of these frames for mother's day and not only does it look great, you don't need to remember an email address to send photos to it (the app is easy to use) and it displays vertical photos side-by side so the frame never has those awkward black bars on either side of the photo.
  • Lo & Sons “The Pearl” Purse - This purse is designed for travel, but I think of it as the most neurodivergent-friendly purse ever. Designated pockets for everything, a built-in strap for your keys, and it's made of high quality materials too — my last one lasted me almost a decade!
  • Butter Rug - A stick of butter but make it soft and cozy! I have one of these next to my bed and it looks great and keeps my feet from hitting the cold floor when I get out of bed in the morning.
  • Baking Steel - If you want to make the best pizzas ever in your home oven, you need a baking steel. Read my full baking steel review here, and use code BFCM15 for 15% off sitewide!
