As we approach the end of the semester, we’re so excited to share our final newsletter of the year!
It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown by. This will also be my last newsletter as I pass the torch to the next Vice President of Ritual and Fraternity Appreciation, Brooklyn Lorenz (MC’ 23), and I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your support and engagement throughout this past year. I’ve had so much fun connecting with all of you, and I hope you’ve enjoyed the updates and stories as much as I have. Here’s to the wonderful memories we’ve created together and to the bright future ahead for the Gamma Zeta chapter! - Gracie Toman (MC’ 22)
Sips for Survivors with Pi Beta Phi!!
On November 3rd, we had the pleasure of co-hosting a philanthropy event with Pi Beta Phi called Sips for Survivors. Planned by our amazing Vice President of Philanthropy, Jadelyn Betz (MC’ 22), the event featured a delightful soda bar and brought our community together in support of a great cause. It was heartwarming to see the Pi Phi house filled with friends and supporters. Together, we raised an incredible $3,000 for the Manhattan Crisis Center and the Ali Kemp Foundation. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event a success!
Game Day Highlights!!
Game days are always a highlight of our fall semester, and this year was no exception! We had an incredible time cheering on the Wildcats together, creating lasting memories and fostering our sisterhood.
The Kansas State football team has had a fantastic season, racking up an incredible 7 wins and only 2 losses so far! With standout performances from our players and thrilling victories, the energy in the stands was electric. It’s been amazing to see our team climb the rankings and show such determination on the field. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the games—here’s to many more unforgettable seasons ahead! Go Cats! 🐾💜
Meet the Last of our Newly official members!!
We are thrilled to introduce the final members of MC '24 from the fall semester! It has been a true joy getting to know these real strong women. Their passion is inspiring, and we can’t wait to see how they impact our chapter. With continuous open bidding in the spring, we’re excited to watch this member class grow even more!

My Tie Semi-Formal!!
On November 15th, we had an unforgettable night at our My-Tie semi-formal, themed "Meet Me in Manhattan," expertly planned by our talented Social Chair, Vanessa Johnson (MC’ 22). The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and wonderful memories as we celebrated together. The vibrant atmosphere and creative theme truly captured the spirit of Manhattan!
We are thrilled to feature Victoria (Conner) Nibarger, a proud 2000 initiate of the Gamma Zeta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. As a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of State for 16 years, Victoria has represented the United States during tours in Jamaica, Serbia, Ukraine, and Washington, D.C. In her most recent assignment, Victoria helped bolster U.S. leadership within the Community of Democracies, a global coalition aimed at promoting and protecting democracy worldwide. After working to advance U.S. priorities overseas, Victoria has now returned to Kansas to promote democracy at home. As an Una Chapman Cox Fellow for the 2024-25 academic year, Victoria is encouraging young people to take civic action and to connect young leaders in the heart of America with counterparts throughout the world. She is working to reach students throughout the Midwest and hopes her story might inspire others to pursue a path of public service.
Victoria, the third in her family to join the Alpha Chi Omega sisterhood at K-State, holds B.S. degrees in biology and political science, along with a minor in leadership studies. She also earned her M.A. in political science and has participated in student programs in the Czech Republic and Turkey, studying both the Serbo-Croatian and Russian languages. Victoria is married to fellow K-Stater Daniel Nibarger, also a Foreign Service Officer, and they are proud parents of three children.
This fall, Victoria has actively engaged with the K-State community. In September, she facilitated small-group discussions during Wildcat Dialogues, promoting meaningful conversations and community building. In October, she delivered a lecture titled “Reflections on Democracy at Home & Abroad: A Diplomat’s Perspective,” in collaboration with K-State's Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy. On election night in November, she co-hosted a “K-State Celebration of American Democracy” with Alpha Phi Alpha and UPC, fostering a spirit of civic pride. Additionally, she participated as an alumni representative in a panel discussion on inclusion and belonging during K-S-Unite.
Reflecting on her recent experiences, Victoria shares, “It has been so special to reconnect with the K-State family over these past few months. It is the people who make it such a magical place, and I’m grateful to be sharing my experiences with – and learning from – a new generation of Wildcats.” We are incredibly proud of Victoria and her dedication to service and community. Her journey is an inspiration to us all!
