Dear First name / Friend,

Earlier this month, I reached out to my clients with a survey to better understand their goals for 2025.

One question asked them to select which topics felt the most relevant to their lives right now, with a long list of options to choose from.

The results were eye-opening: JOY emerged as the top priority. They chose this over essential areas like career planning, work-life balance, and leadership development.

Intrigued, I posed the same question on LinkedIn, and once again, JOY topped the list.

My take? People are exhausted, going through the motions, and aren't feeling the spark. While joy is available to us, we aren't pursuing it with intention.

In this month's Coaching Nugget, I'm writing about the “Joy Deficit” and offering my most foolproof tips for bringing more joy into your life.

I'm also giving you the gift of Holiday Bingo to share with your family and friends. If you get a blackout bingo, respond to this email with a photo of you holding your board for a little prize in the mail.

Last but not least, in 2025 The Thirlby Co. will be launching something BIG for teams at work. Stay tuned for a special announcement and contact us to chat about partnership opportunities for next year.

Wishing you and your loved ones a happy holiday season.

QUOTE OF THE MONTH

If you're a leader or manager, extolling the virtues of employee well-being doesn't do any good if you're still modeling burnout culture yourself.

Employees pay more attention to how you act than what you say.
