Hi everyone,
Hope everyone enjoyed the rain we got! I know Cody got the Winterizer down at the house and Thomas got it down at the greenhouses just in time! If you haven't applied your Winterizer, you still have time to do so.
As the temperatures start changing and the leaves start falling, now is a great time to start thinking about adding your leaves (brown layer) to your compost piles. Just remember to add in your green layer as well to help off set the leaves. If you pick them up with your lawn mower, they will decompose faster which can be very helpful come spring.
We still have a few mums, some pansies, ornamental cabbage and kale as well as dusty miller! All are looking great and will enjoy these cooler temps we are having!
We will be having a one more big Saturday event before 2025! Holly Jolly at the Greenhouse on December 7th. Trust me, this is a day you don't want to miss and the perfect time to start checking stuff off on your Christmas list and supporting local small business's.
Get ready for an amazing lineup this November and December! On November 21st brings the talented Ty Blackburn, with food truck King & Queens Fries. Finally, don't miss our Paint & Sip event on December 5th, the perfect way to kick off the holiday season with warm amazing food from Porch Swing Eats & Treatz. December 12th will be our last Thursday Evening on the Patio of 2024. We will have great tunes from Yvonne Perea with delicious food from Potato My Way. Trust me, you won’t want to miss these fun-filled evenings! We have already been booking Thursday night events and are so excited for the different seminars, singers, and food trucks!
Join us for a Facebook live every Saturday morning at 9am. During this time, we will talk about what all is happening in the greenhouse, as well as answer any questions you might have. So make sure and jump on the live or email me with questions. This week I will talk about all the Black Friday and Small Business Saturday Sales!!
If you want to pre-book a poinsettia, you can do so now! If you can't make it in, feel free to email me or call me and we can get them reserved for you. They are starting to book fast. We have sold out of our 6" red ones, but still have bigger size red available as well as 6" white and new glitter (red and white mix). We also have pot covers and bows available as well. We will be open November 29th for great BLACK FRIDAY SALES and November 30th for SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY! Be watching for what will be on sale both days as there will be some great deals you won't want to miss.
