Key Habit #5: Gratitude

With Thanksgiving approaching, it seems appropriate to highlight expressing gratitude as a key habit. Focusing on what's good in life is a sure way to create more goodness.

It might feel more natural to dwell on what's not working or the challenges you're facing, but when you practice being grateful for what is working and how you're overcoming hard things, you're building your capacity for greatness.

That's why cultivating a gratitude practice is one of our #KeyHabits here at 365 Mindful Days. We wrap up each week with a celebration of what went well, Weekly Wellness Goals you met, tasks you completed that make you proud, and small moments that brought you joy.

#MindfulMoments ✨

There are so many ways to express gratitude, and they're all easy to integrate into your daily routine. Try writing down at least one thing you're grateful for in your journal before bed. One of my favorite gratitude apps is Three Good Things. You can also try telling at least one person daily why you're grateful for them.

Once you get into the habit, you'll quickly see how expressing gratitude helps wire your brain for positivity and sets you up to welcome unlimited possibilities in life.

Log into our 365 community platform to share what you're grateful for this week! It's a JOY to connect with fellow TRIO students and McNair scholars by celebrating the amazing things each of YOU accomplish every day. ✨

I'm thankful for you, Lynn
