how to live powerfully in the present
I wish I'd found this book sooner but I trust in divine timing so perhaps I wasn't ready. I'm sharing it with you because you all are ready. I know how difficult (read: seemingly impossible) it can feel at times to show up today as you'd like to be tomorrow. I wrestled with this very task for years and years and years. If you read this book, my hope is that you wont have to put in as much blood, sweat and tears as I did. Click below; read it; learn it; live it.
when it comes to food, use common sense and be skeptical
Marion Nestle was a professor at NYU while I was getting my masters. She's the GOAT when it comes to nutrition, nutrition science, food politics and understanding the complexities of why we eat what we eat, as well as the role that food manufacturers play in our “illusion of choice.” In this article, she touches on a lot but one of the biggest takeaways is the reminder that education is good and great, but it's rarely enough. We all know what to eat to be healthy. And yet, Nestle says: “Three-quarters of American adults are overweight and obese, which suggests this is a country-wide problem. Everyone overeats. That’s what this is about.”
More often than not, when we think about risk, we think in terms of what might happen if we do z, y or z. We don’t usually think about the opposite, which is what might happen if we don’t. As it relates to long term health and risk of disease, it also doesn’t help our case that risk today might be next to nothing because when we get to the age when risk demands more of our attention, there’s very little we can do. In this short convo, Peter Attia - a brilliant doctor, if you don’t know him look him up - talks about the importance of prioritizing prevention now, when you’re young. He says it’s completely possible to change the disease trajectory of your life at 30 but it’s a lot harder to find the motivation because at 30, we have very few markers reminding us that we’re getting older. This led to me think about the ancient practice of Memento Mori, which is latin for remembrance that you will one day eventually die. I know, not the most uplifting end note - or is it? If you choose to regularly reflect on your unavoidable death, don't you think you might make more of your time here alive on earth?
This recipe slaps. I'm tempted to leave it there and not say anything else because it's kind of a full stop situation but just so you're aware, it's also super healthy, too. I know, shocking. Guaranteed to bring you back to the days of drinking shitty beer in your friend's parents basement, feeling like you know everything and thinking that getting older is a myth so you'll surely stay young forever. Just me? Have fun, kids.

“Molly has developed a truly original program. Her approach is holistic; working with the physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and social aspects of her clients. Because of this, the results are effective and long lasting.
I met my nutrition and exercise goals in a balanced way with Molly’s guidance, but beyond that my overall lifestyle improved. She listened attentively to the details of my situation and customized her knowledge to meet my uniquely individual goals and needs. I love that I still have access to the materials after completing the course, because I’ve found that the program keeps on benefiting my life!
Most importantly, my mindset shifted from one of self judgment to one of self care and empowerment. If you are looking for positive life changes, (especially with your body, your mind, and nutrition)
I highly recommend working with Molly!”

“I don’t think there are enough words to describe my gratitude for Molly! I’d been following her for years and was always so inspired by the work she was putting in to herself and sharing with her peers. I was so drawn to her, but like in many instances of growth, I was hesitant to put my own work in.
I think she sensed my hesitation but also my deep desire and need to make some changes within myself. She was kind enough to offer her program to me last fall, and I have to say, it truly was life changing. While we all fall back into old patterns here and there, she reminded me to keep pushing, keep trying and to never give up.
I still hear her advice and kindness in my own head and self-talk ever since the program ended. Molly is an incredible source of love, knowledge, wisdom and hope. She’s encouraging and thoughtful, and has the ability to be your biggest cheerleader even when life has thrown tough challenges her way.
If you’re looking to do the work, open your mind to a healthy approach and perspective, I highly recommend working with Molly.”

“Molly's food relationship weight loss program was truly transformative to me. It is a completely unique approach that supports and guides you in redefining and deepening your understanding of your relationship with food, your mind and body leading to sustainable and lasting changes.
I felt incredibly seen and understood through Molly’s caring, compassionate and understanding approach both in the group and 1:1 sessions. She truly grasps the challenges and pressure we face as women regarding food, weight, and body image.
Through this program, I developed an emotional understanding of my relationship with food, rather than just adhering to a strict diet. This approach was not only incredibly effective but also profoundly impacted my mental health and my food and weight goals.
Lastly, participating in this program within a group setting was immensely important for me and impactful, as it fostered a strong sense of community, enriched by an additional layer of empathy.”
