HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!
Christmas may have been my dad's favorite holiday,
but Thanksgiving was my mom's. It is also mine.
We spent most Thanksgivings with Henry and Doris Dreyfuss,
their children and grandchildren, whom my parents and I adored.
I know that Thanksgiving can be stressful for some families.
I was fortunate to grow up surrounded by friends who felt like family.
That taught me that family is where and how we make it.
I still try to live that way.
This hilarious publicity photo is from my dad's
short-lived British cooking show, Cooking Price-Wise.
The British Film Institute has just released a Blu-Ray
of the show's six episodes for the very first time.
Even I have never seen all six yet. . .
but yesterday I got a small box of them from the UK.
Which means, I'll be watching. . .
and so can you!
Keep an eye out on social media on Friday to find out how!
In the meantime, please take a moment
to scroll through the announcements below
about our charity auctions for Hurricane Relief
as well as today's Daily Practice of Joy blog.
But mostly, I hope that, wherever you are,
you find as much joy and feel as much gratitude
as I do for all of you this holiday weekend!
All Love to you and yours.
