We recently introduced you to Kristen Dahlgren and her new Venture, Cancer Vaccine Coalition.  You may also recognize Kristen Dahlgren from her 30 years working in news on television, reporting for the Today Show and NBC Nightly News winning the prestigious Edward R Morrow award and nominated for an Emmy.  She is also a recent Caner Survivor and is sharing her wisdom and favorite products from her cancer journey with My Cancer Family.

I got a Barefoot Dreams robe from Chip & Joanna Gaines which I treasure on many levels (how cool is it that they sent me something after I interviewed them??! and in my daughter's words, it's incredibly cuddlish )  Softness meant a lot to me during days on the couch.

Ana Ono bras and robes are soft and made for drains. Exactly what I needed and still faves (drain pockets are removable!)

I actually got it when I started treatment and would no longer be making it to the NBC gym.  Not only did it lead to a new career for my husband who reconnected with his old buddy Matt Wilpers and became a full time cycling coach with remote clients around the globe, but for me, seeing the reflection of my bald head in the screen while pushing my body to move made me feel empowered and was great for my mental and physical strength during treatment.

Cancer is overwhelming. Finding the right product shouldn’t have to be.  Click below for our product guides filled with My Cancer Family Approved products for those going through the cancer journey.

Note from Denise:

In case you missed it, my son, Jaylan Fisch started a group together with My Cancer Family in collaboration with  Cancer Support Community (Greater NY/CT at Gilda's Club).  It is a virtual group for teens who are living with the loss of a loved one to cancer called Teens Joining Forces After Loss.

If you know anyone who would like to join the group, please reach out and if you would like to support this group, and make sure it's here for those who need it, the money goes directly to operating costs through the non-profit, please support here!

This social group for teens, ages 14-18, meets twice monthly on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, and is facilitated by Olivia Edelman, Teen Life Coach, who also lost her parents to Cancer.
