Christmas Main Courses
I've not decided which of these Christmas dinners I am going to make this year.

I know it won't be the mushroom wellington, as my brother-in-law will be with us and he hates mushrooms.

Last year I made butternut squash wellington, the year before I made the shallot pastry crown, the year before that I made my vegan haggis and I made the butternut squash plait for two years in a row before that.

Don't ask me to remember further back than that, because my memory is like a sieve.

I do remember I served each of these with roast potatoes, maple syrup roasted parsnips, carrots and gravy. Sometimes some green veg too.

Although I say gravy, the miso nut roast is best served with this red pepper sauce and the shallot crown (or wreath) is best served with this homemade cranberry sauce that's made from frozen cranberries and so easy to make.

I hope you find some inspiration.

If you have any questions just respond to this email. I am always happy to help if I can.

Hey ho! Let's go!
