PROJECTS: E Design Private Client
Image item
Here's another of the on line projects I'm currently working on for a client in the UK.
YES what joy I felt when my client requested an Indonesian influence for her London home office to remind her of her travels. A wonderful brief to get stuck into, given the inspiration all around me here in lombok!

What does the E Design process actually involve?

1st step is a Design Date zoom call where Sue & I discussed her brief and I listened to asses how best I can help. Budget is discussed & the required products are outlined, in this case it's a make over of her home office that is currently more of a dumping ground!

2nd step is for me to go away, absorb the information & create a design direction Inspiration board as shown above. The first board ABOVE is to give an overall feeling re the look & feel.

3rd step is to create the digital “one click shopping list” As shown BELOW with up to 10 product options, all in budget and shopable with the integrated links shown on the bottom picture.
These boards are delivered digitally on my design portal as shown for my client to look at any time
My clients get up to 25% off RRP on items sourced via SBD

My adventures are gaining attention..
It has really taken me by surprise  how so many people are interested in my adventures living & working as a digital designer here in Lombok, Indonesia for the UK winter.
Thanks to all of those of you who have sent me messages that are full of good wishes, these really motivate me to share more (there is the inevitable fear of being a narcissistic twit obviously) especially when I see that the i Paper Face Book post on the article has got over 11,000 reactions, 500 shares & 2,500 comments, so I shall continue to share and hope to give anyone else thinking of a similar venture the courage to make the most of this precious life and all it can offer if you choose to explore it.

INSPIRATION : Tropical Vibes

This tropical design is from Graham & Brown and they have an excellent website where you can not only see the design but also hover over to get a magnified view and then create your bespoke sized piece.
I've suggested this wall mural for my client's office wall and I thought I'd share it with you as I think it's going to look fabulous!

Thanks for keeping in touch via my “Design Diary” & “Studio Stuff” emails which alternate every couple of weeks so that I can share different areas of my creative world
in small chunks as I know you're busy people!
I'll see you this time next week when I'll pop into your inbox, a little earlier in the month than usual, with some festive Christmas good wishes…
Stay safe,
Sarah x
