Hello there!
Well, it's been awhile since you all have heard from me. While I've been doing some massage therapy work, I am thrilled to say that my health now allows me to be back to work full-time. On November 11, I received a diagnosis of NED (no evidence of disease) via a full-body PET scan and Brain MRI. While it is possible that my cancer may return sometime in the future (Merkel Cell carcinoma has a high recurrence rate), right now I am celebrating. I finished my course of 17 infusions of Keytruda and am currently working on regaining my strength, flexibility and vitality.
So, doing the work I love with the people I love (you!) is an integral part of my feeling my life moving forward.
