Hello, First name / my friend!
I am so excited to finally tell you all about In a Rush and share the cover! This book has been simmering away in the back of my mind since the summer of 2016 when two characters suddenly appeared to me. I was supposed to be working on something else the time but I dropped everything (so demure, so responsible) to write two chapters.

All these years later, I know these two are even better than I first imagined. You're going to love Emme and Ryan 🥹

What’s better than a revenge date?
A revenge husband.

Pro quarterback Ryan Ralston has always known two things.
First, he’s desperately in love with his best friend Emme Ahlborg.
Second–and most importantly–he still has no idea how to tell her.

The marriage pact they made in their senior yearbook was the closest he ever came.
Years passed and Emme forgot about their promise.
Ryan never did, especially not on his thirtieth birthday.

Emme can’t catch a break. Always unlucky in love, her cheating ex is a groomsman in her best friend’s wedding—and there’s no way she’s showing up alone.

Ryan offers her the one thing better than a wedding date: a revenge husband. And he’s not just any fake husband but the NFL’s brightest star…and in need of serious reputation rehab.

Playing the part of the happy couple comes easy and soon enough, the lines between real and fake blur. They disappear altogether when there’s just one bed.

All Ryan has to do is save Emme from her ex, find her step-sister an internship, and get his wife to fall in love with him—or fumble the one thing he’s ever wanted: her heart.

This book is coming to Kindle Unlimited ebook and paperback on February 4! No preorders at this time but you can add it to your Goodreads TBR.

The audio edition will follow shortly after. Look out for narrator announcements to come! Keep reading for a peek at the synopsis and creator/blogger sign-ups, and some of my most recent book recommendations.

I'll be back later this month with a check-in or two with some of my past couples. Look out for that around the holidays.

Hope you're doing well, my friend!

Recent (all over the place) Recommendations:
The Road Home by Kat Ryan. I want everyone to read the Highland Falls series. It's the ultimate cozy small town to escape to and the characters are fun, fresh, and relatable. If you loved Pumpkin Spice Cafe, Lovelight Farms, or Melanie Harlow's Cherry Tree Harbor series, you'll love this one too. Read in Kindle Unlimited.

Dance, Sugarplum by Aurelia Knight and Amy Oliveira. I cannot be the only one who thinks The Nutcracker is a dark, twisted story. It slides under the radar as a ballet but Amy Oliveira and Aurelia Knight get it with their spicy reimagining of this story. Eyes open on the content warnings, my friend.

The Horde Kings of Dakkar series by Zoey Draven. Listen, I blame Andie J. Christoper for getting me hooked on these books and I'm thrilled she did because they're an outstanding escape from…you know, the whole fcking world. I don't usually veer too far outside of contemporary or historical but this series is an excellent entry point for the new-to-sci-fi reader.

Typos and broken links happen. It's okay. The earth is very hot and fragile, and so are we.
