If you've been curious about our Literacy + Art class with Melissa from Moving Little Minds, tomorrow is your chance to come see for yourself how amazing these classes are!
Why Combine Literacy + Art?
01
Enhances Language Development
Art brings stories to life, expanding vocabulary and improving comprehension as children connect visuals with words.
Improves Fine & Gross Motor Skills
02
Writing, drawing, and art making support the muscle development needed for writing and other self-care (like being able tie shoelaces!)
Fosters a Love of Learning
03
Merging creativity with reading creates positive associations, nurturing a lifelong love of books and self-expression.
Improves Focus + Patience
04
Engaging in both literacy and art together helps preschoolers practice sustained attention and follow multi-step processes.
Builds Self-Confidence
05
Completing art projects inspired by stories and literacy education games gives children a sense of accomplishment and pride in their work.
In the Photos: we read “Lily Learns About Wants & Needs”, sorted sight words & objects into wants or needs & continued the discussion as we created  these adorable “giving boxes”!

If you love the class, we'd love to have you join the rest of our Early Winter session, which runs through Wed. Jan. 22 (no class the weeks of Christmas or New Years).
