 ADHD affects everything in our lives but our hormones definitely affect our ADHD.
 
By understanding how your menstrual cycle affects your ADHD will allow you develop plans and strategies to help your ADHD brain when Mother Nature is being her monthly Wicked Witch.
 
A normal menstrual cycle is 28 day but this can be adjusted for any cycle.  It is worth the time and may give you a bit of much needed relief and sanity.

plan to use the ENERGETIC days to help when your energy low 
  • Meal Planning
  • Large Shopping Trips (COSTCO/Sam's)
  • Washing and Changing Bedding
  • Try To Get Laundry Folded/Put Away
  • House Cleaning Projects You Are Most Likely To Procrastinate (You Know the Ones)
  • Budgeting/Paying Bills
  • If Possible Make Appointments During this Time (Less Chance of Procrastination)
  • Good Time For Socializing
  • Make Adjustments to This List
Cycle days 18-5
when pms is rearing its ugly self
  • Rely On Your Meal Plans or Eat Out
  • Fast Trips To The Store (In and Out)
  • Do Laundry As Needed
  • Light Cleaning
  • Try Not To Make Financial Decisions
  • Delegate Tasks If You Can
  • Avoid Social Events If They Give You Anxiety
  • Rest 
  • LISTEN TO YOUR BODY AND MIND
