We're starting off strong this winter season with a chat on wellness ⚕️ Why? Because most women I meet are malnourished.

Hair is made up of dead protein, called keratin. If you don't eat protein, how will your hair grow? Your hair needs foods like eggs, meat and greek yogurt and so do your muscles, by the way, especially if you work out.
 
Marketing companies spend millions to get you to buy gummies, collagen and biotin supplements that don't actually grow your hair. 
 
🚫 There is absolutely no research that backs up biotin or collagen supplementing for skin and hair. 🚫
 
The #1 thing you can do right now to get great hair is to get your blood work done. 💉 
I realize that blood tests are not sexy either, but if you want great hair … 🤷🏻‍♀️ You gotta find out what's going on in your body and give it what it needs.
 
 
✨a little story on the importance of iron for healthy hair✨
 
I had a client come in with fine, brittle hair. Each individual hair looked thin and weak, and seemed to shed out of the follicle within weeks of growing. I knew something was going on internally, because a healthy hair follicle should be strong enough to push through the skin and sustain itself for the entire hair cycle. ➰
