Wow. It’s hard to believe this is my last “from the desk” newsletter of 2024 - this year FLEW by! There are so many wonderful memories, but here are a few highlights: 

• Vacationing to St. Thomas with our ZYIA family

• All of our baseball games & travel tournaments

• Incredible tackle football seasons for both boys

• Navigating middle school & having a teen with a learner’s permit

• Concerts with my hubs, kiddos, and my girlfriends

• Our annual ZYIA Summit in SLC with our entire company

• Outreach & fundraising efforts for many organizations again this year

• Finishing my #5kaday2024 {only a few days left!!!}

• Reading the entire Bible and finding a new church home

. . . but to be completely honest, it’s the little moments for me. The nights we eat dinner together, the driving to and from games & practices where I get to hear about their days. Going on a walk with my husband. Watching a movie with my boys on the couch. Exploring new trails with my dogs.

The flashier moments may make the ‘Gram, they may get a permanent square in my social media feed, but it’s the small everyday moments that have a permanent place in my heart. Those are the moments that matter. And those are the moments that always remind me how grateful I am for this simple life - sure the trips are fun, but building a life I don’t want a break from is the ultimate win in my book.

There is something about turning over a fresh chapter each year that I just adore. Marking birthdays and important dates for the coming year, planning out our vacations and travel, and leaving a TON of white space for those everyday moments ;) #momlife
