“The INEB Conference 2024 was an incredible gathering of socially engaged Buddhists from around the world. This year, we had over 250 participants from 18 countries who shared their friendship, experiences and wisdom with each other.

The conference began with an amazing workshop in Auroville, an experimental township in Tamil Nadu. “The participants built a mandala shape Metta Garden led by Kanchana Weerakoon at Eco Temple Hands On Workshop. We embraced the ethos of no killing, mindful and purposeful acts, small but beautiful” Topsi - Wansiri Rongrongmuang

The first day of the main conference in Chennai was also the 75th anniversary of India Constitution. The celebrations and speeches were chaired by the drafting committee and Dr. Ambedkar.

Jungto Society, the international Buddhist community founded by the revered Korean Dharma master and social activist Venerable Pomnyun Sunim (법륜스님), this month hosted an intensive week-long study tour in South Korea for female monastics and activists affiliated with the International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB)

Over the past few days, we have been privileged to come together for the #GNRCSixthForum, a global gathering dedicated to creating a safe, secure, and sustainable world for children under the theme: “The Child is Calling: Interfaith Cooperation to Build a Hopeful World for Children.”

One of the highlights was INEB presenting the Little buddha Scoping Study.
