 uprise pelvic health

This year, I tried something new as we approach the end of the year—I sent out a "Year in Review" Google Form a few weeks ago. My goal is to gather valuable feedback from our patients about their experiences and the care they’ve received at our clinic. Your input means so much to us!

Thank you to all who have filled out the form, much appreciated!

I'm doing a little drawing for some coffee + oil sets for everyone who completed the form by December 27th!

Anyways, here are just a few tidbits from our beloved patients:

What surprised you the most about pelvic floor therapy?

“Dr. Marysa was the first pelvic floor PT I've been to that cares about what's going with my whole body and nervous system and not just my pelvic floor. She understands that everything is connected and if I have tension in my shoulders then my pelvic floor is probably tense too.”

“That it wasn't awkward at all. I'm generally not easily embarrassed, but I was somewhat nervous about this. It also surprised me how much emotion I felt at times as we worked through a few of the things I was experiencing physically.”

What improvements did you make during/after completing pelvic floor therapy? (i.e. sex is no longer painful, no issues pooping, no longer leaking, understand my body better, etc).

“Understanding my body better, being more aware of areas of tension, being more aware of how to stretch/exercise in beneficial ways.”

“Less leaking and incontinence. Definitely understanding my body more and how to help!”

“No discomfort during pregnancy!”

Start 2025 on the right track + you could be symptom free by the time school is out, although many folks see results in just a few visits!

And remember, it's never too late.
