I liked the image above because life can feel like a blur of a whirlwind--but at the same time if you stop to focus, stillness can be found. In the photo, this can be seen in the background which reminds me to pause, step back, and look at the bigger picture.
Wherever you are this season, I wanted to send a quick reminder to take a moment to be in the present. If you are able to create, this act always keeps me in the now. If you don't able to right now, that's OK too--your practice will be there when you are ready to return to it.

Lastly, besides making art, I also feel the most present when I am immersed in nature, awestruck by how truly incredible it is and to be able to witness it. The image below really captured this sentiment for me and I hope one day I get to see the northern lights!
