Here is the thing, I am only hosting those 4 day / 3 night women experiences at Sinai twice this year. Once in Jan (23-26) & Sep (18-21) for 12 women.

Here is what I have planned this Jan for the women who decide to join (if you do decide to join , if not, there is always another round of opportunities for us to meet in person!)
Why did I choose JAN'2025 :
Apart from the fact that there is a long weekend and that only leaves you with taking one day off work (I hear you), but also because,
The weather at this point of the year is usually very cold in the city & Sinai is always much warmer, you can expect the weather to be somewhere between (25 -27 degrees in the morning and drops down to 18-15 degrees at night) ,
Jan is that time of the year when there is PLENTY of time, a blank white canvas, post the holiday season, the only trouble about it
That is also associated with the winter BLUES - I dive a lot into the impact of the circadian rhythm and our bodies tendency to shut down, get stuck in the distractions cycle, feel alienated, disconnected. Living in cairo may increase the symptoms which makes it more difficult to have energy, feel connected to optimism , your body, your intentions for the year go down the window. So I believe this is one of the best times to take off and leave the city blues & carve out time for yourself to be surrounded by nature!
Bus departs 7 AM (there is usually two pick up points, one in Zamalek & another in new cairo) , it is a private bus I organize for a group of 10-12 participants, and the trip duration usually lasts somewhere between (6-8 hours) , so you are expected to arrive in Basata around 12 - 1 PM , Upon arrival , I will be there alongside Basata’s family : Sherif el Ghamrawy Basata’s owner usually welcomes us & tells us the famous story of Basata, sustainability & how it all started. That’s why I am so committed to this venue, they share their home with us not just a place to stay , the energy , warmth & hospitality set my bar very high in terms of finding a safe space here in Egypt for my women retreats.
Once we are done, we take an hour or two to settle into our rooms , I show you around and give you some time to refresh until we meet again at the yoga shala for our opening ceremony around 3 PM: Now as a placeholder, this just one of my absolute favorite moments , it is where the magic takes place as I may set an initial intention for these retreats, but coming together in the form of this circle , setting our intention for our time together is usually one of the most magical time of our journey together, once we are done , we usually kick start with a yoga nidra practice where I guide into your dreamspace & help you settle more into your body and connect more into your vision. Around 6 PM: We slowly go back to the main-hut for our home based Basata Egyptian lunch, where we savor into their home cooked with love meals (Wide range of molokheya, Spinach with sweet potatoes, Peas , Fried eggplants, grilled chicken, etc). We spend some time sipping on some tea with marmaraya tea and my collection of blessedjourneyherbals and that’s a wrap, we go to sleep around 9-10 PM , no rules really but usually first days feel like a welcoming back home after a long chaotic ride!
Waking up around 8 AM, We had to the yoga shala some gentle movement to awaken up the body, winding up with a nourishing yoga nidra practice we finish around 10 AM , We head back to our nourishing breakfast ( Eggs, tomatoes & cheese, foul , fittir), its one of my most rewarding meals post the morning movement practice, We take some time to blend with nature till 1 PM Then we connect together, we have two workshops on this day
Cyclical Living We share together our experiences being a woman & engaging in our daily routines & lives, I share my schools of thought on the changes our bodies go through as women , the impact of stress on our HPA-axis & fertility , our cycles of womanhood from maiden to mother, summer, spring, autumn & winter.
The second & first of its kind in homebody is Vision Board scrapbooking We will be using colors, hands & elements of nature to dive more into our true desires for this year, what seek to birth into our reality, how we seek our lives to feel , releasing lack and welcoming back our lives as our form of creation, it is so much fun, I believe this is the part we engage into our creative form of rest as we release the need to perfect things, and instead get back into our infant curiosity to create without borders or form
We end with yoga nidra & go back to our dinner table at 6 PM, winding down with tea and time together, slumber party vibes!
We wake up around 6-7 AM get a glimpse of sunrise , have very light breakfast to support us on our hike to Wady Malaha (a beginner friendly hike) , Car comes to pick us up from Basata , we arrive to destination in 30-45 mins & I deliberately included this part of our program to engage in our fiery spirits, and dive a layer deeper into divine mother nature, we will explore the elements of nature, connect with the mountains, have tea with the bedouin, it is a special sacred experience, we take some time to rest in between , breath together have a light meal for lunch, and then we head back to Basata, around 3 PM,
We take some time to rest & gather for a nourishing yoga nidra practice before dinner time. The yoga nidra experience is centered around taking in all of these different forms of activities & bringing it back into your body, I usually set a skeleton but everything I receive there fuels these special yoga nidra practices.
Day 4: Sunday 26th : The departure
8 AM Closing Ceremony
Gentle Flow & Yoga Nidra
10 AM Breakfast &
12 PM: Check out
1 PM Head back to Cairo
We meet in our yoga shala 8 AM for our closing ceremony flow very gently together , breath & dive into our nourishing yoga nidra , once we are done we sit in a circle and reflect on our vision board & how we plan on bringing this vision into reality , through our daily habits, practices & routine once we get back. It is quite an emotional experience because at this point you create really nourishing friendships with what started as strangers
(although this retreat is carefully created to honor the introvert within, I scored 90% on myers berg test, so I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed at all, I feel you, I hear you, this was my number one focus when I decided to take on this career full time, how to create wholesome experiences that are welcoming to introverts who feel a little lonely in this intimidating world) , finish up at 10 AM , have breakfast followed by having 2 hours for check out as bus comes to pick you up from Basata at 1 PM , arriving in the city around 8-9 PM ( Exact drop off is also arranged upon the group needs).
I'm really grateful to have been here at the retreat. It was such a relaxing, inspiring experience and an eye opener that helped me understand a lot about myself and about life. I'm grateful to meet and be around such amazing young women! Thank you!

I had a truly wonderful experience, I felt safe, peaceful, restful, and mostly grateful for the space that was provided. Not only was Basata beautiful and calming, but also being there with the group was the blessing.

The Yoga-Retreat was just the perfect break: an amazing instructor, amazing setting and amazing group. It helped me to calm down in busy times, to put some things into perspective and to take time to think about what lies behind some of my thoughts or behavioral patterns. I am really thankful for this experience.
