About Threshold: From 12/27 - 01/04  you will receive a daily piece of writing, art or a practice from a trusted esoteric practitioner. Our intention is to help reflect on the year you have had, and plant seeds of intention in 2025. Each of these practitioners is someone who I respect and admire, and is also part of the guest faculty for Emanate: Business School for Mystics.

Dear Keeper of the Threshold,

How are you feeling after yesterday's ritual on clarity?

I hope it is providing you some support as we approach the New Moon in Capricorn on December 30th, our last New Moon of 2024.

Our Day 03 ritual was created by Meenadchi. I first came across Meenadchi's work through her book Decolonizing Non-Violent Communication some years ago. I had just learned some very basic principles of NVC, and as an extremely airy person who is prone to thinking their feelings, I wanted to learn about the body's role in communication.

Somehow I found this book.

Since then, I have participated in offerings from Meenadchi on healing money trauma, and having difficult conversations through the modality of Family Constellations.

What I appreciate about the way Meenadchi holds space and presents information is the prioritization on clarity and spaciousness. As someone who often focuses on activation, complexity, and nuance, it is so balancing to learn from someone who trusts others to have their own process.

I am deeply honored that Meenadchi has taken the time to create this Releasing Regret exercise for you all, and highly recommend checking out her books and work. Meenadchi will also be part of the upcoming Emanate: Business School for Mystics, where she will be facilitating: A Mystic's Path to Purpose.

Enjoy the ritual. May it give you a space for grace to enter your life.

Releasing Regret by Meenadchi
Regret is a common emotion towards the end of the year. You may find yourself reflecting on what you were “supposed” to accomplish and who you were “supposed” to be by this time.

According to the great gods of Google, the word “regret” may stem from the German word for “to greet” - perhaps “to greet again”.

How would your world change if you found yourself willing and able to greet yourself over and over again?

To be in gentle and growing communion with all versions of you who were and all versions who will be?

How would end-of-year sensations of regret change as we collectively find ourselves in a practice meeting, smiling, seeing, and being?

Journaling Prompts:

If I were to invite my regret to a small dinner party, how would they dress? What styles would they feel adorned and adored in?

What foods would they long for? How can I create a welcoming experience for them, that would allow them to shed their heaviness and simply be?

Here is a bit about more about Meenadchi.

Meenadchi (she/her) is an ancestral healing practitioner, TEDx speaker, and communications expert whose work centers social change and embodied transformation. Using the modality of Family Constellation Therapy, Meenadchi supports socially-conscious changemakers and entrepreneurs heal inherited and ancestral money trauma, so that we can be paid well for our work and so that we can pour funds into our communities from a state of overflow instead of self-sacrifice. Meenadchi is board-certified in occupational therapy and has historically served communities impacted by gender-based violence, complex trauma, and serious mental illness. She is the author of Decolonizing Non-Violent Communication (2019) and is a faculty member with the Trauma of Money™.

Meenadchi will be teaching a workshop within Emanate: Business School for Mystics called The Mystic's Path to Purpose.

The Mystic's Path to Purpose: Being a mystic is weird. We know there is purpose in everything, and yet we are constantly searching for it. During this workshop, you will be guided through a somatic and ancestral healing process to anchor into the needs, desires, and dreams that your life wants to move towards during this particular stage of your life. The modality we will use for our work is Family Constellation Therapy.

In finding both alignment and support from those who came before, this workshop will help you feel both rooted and free to move more deeply into your purpose.
If you'd like to join Emanate, you can add your name to the waitlist here.
