At the start of the year we embarked on this creative journey together and we did it--we've reached the end! It's amazing to look back at what we all created in these past months, the different techniques that were used, all the stories that were told, all of your creative expression! My hope is that through these prompts you've discovered something about yourself and your creative process, that you see what you are capable of, and that you've had fun! It's also never too late to begin so if you're catching up or want to jump back in, you can always do that (the link to all the prompts has been updated and you can find it at the end of this email.) Thank you for joining me, inspiring me, and sharing your art with me--it is a privilege and a joy to get to experience the way you think, feel, see the world, and the way you create! In 2025 the Creative Spark Newsletter is evolving into the monthly Creative Spark Challenge! Every month in the new year, starting January 8th, I'll be pulling a prompt card from the Creative Spark Deck to use as the month's inspiration. There will be an accompanying written post with ideas and inspiration (like what you've been receiving in this newsletter!), I'll also share a tutorial, and at the end of the month I'll be holding a Zoom call where anyone who participated can join in to share what they created! Everything will be free with different options to support if you'd like. I hope you'll join me for the parts that speak to you and that we continue to create together! If you'd like to get emails about the challenge (what the card is for the month, the ideas and inspiration post, zoom invite, etc.) there are 2 ways you can receive them: - Join my main newsletter, Atiliay Notes. I will be sharing all the info there. The subject for the challenge emails will be very clear so that you won't miss it! (If you are already signed up, no need to sign up again you are all set!)

For the new year, I thought it would be fun to send a postcard and share a quote, song / lyric, mantra, or poem you find inspiring, hopeful, uplifting, warm, joyful. This snail mail swap is open to anyone who would like to join, not just our CSN community. A friendly reminder that this space is inclusive of all beliefs. Since we may not know our lovely swap match's background, culture, or faith, I kindly ask you to please refrain from sharing religious topics out of respect for our diverse group. Thank you! THIS SWAP IS FOR: Anyone who enjoys sending and receiving snail mail! International participants are welcome. You will have the option of opting in or out of being paired with matches in other countries.
REQUIREMENTS: - Send a postcard to each of your swap matches with words for the new year
- I'd like to put participants into groups of 4 (maximum), that way each person will receive 3 postcards in the mail. However this will depend on how many people sign up.
- By signing up you agree to send up to 3 postcards and to meet the deadline.
- Optional: If you'd like to send more than the the required postcards (such as a greeting card, letter, stickers, etc.) you are more than welcome to! But please note this is completely optional and a postcard is what you should expect to receive.
IMPORTANT DATES: - Jan 5th, Sunday is the last day to sign up for the swap.
- Jan 11th, Saturday is when you'll receive information about your swap matches.
- Jan 25th, Saturday Please send all your postcards out by this date or earlier if you can!
