I'm not sure how I missed this release but it came out in 2023. Such a great film and the perfect watch for the week between Christmas and New Years, with big “O Captain! My Captain" vibes. Like Dead Poets Society, this takes place at an all-boys private school in New England.

 

Da'Vine Joy Randolph, who played Mary Lamb, the school's cook, won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. But what really stood out to me with the film was the color grading! It was the perfect, nostalgic, 35mm film look.
