Hello out there, friends.

Greetings from Ireland, where I am currently visiting with family.

I want to start by acknowledging the beginning of of the new year, offering you warm thanks for your support, and wishing you all the very best for 2025. Although I don't tend to do much in the way of public retrospectives at times such as this, I certainly spend significant time personally reflecting… Last year spanned the emotional gamut for me, including exciting adventures and creative accomplishments, but tempered by pain and loss. I usually prefer to focus most of my attention on looking forward rather than back, though, and in that spirit, I offer you the following quote from John O'Donahue, an Irishman with a deep love for the land and a keen insight into the human experience:

“Often when something is ending we discover within it the spore of new beginning, and a whole new train of possibility is in motion before we even realize it. When the heart is ready for a fresh beginning, unforeseen things can emerge. And in a sense, this is exactly what a beginning does. It is an opening for surprises. Surrounding the intention and the act of beginning, there are always exciting possibilities. Part of the art of living wisely is to learn to recognize and attend to such profound openings in one’s life."

May 2025 be a profound opening for you.
