How do I know?

When I saw Forbes had published its list of the World's 100 Most Powerful Women, I immediately wanted to ensure I followed them wherever they were on social media.

I have an easy way you can do this too! Keep reading!

Much like in our IRL lives, what and who we surround ourselves with online can greatly influence how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us.

With the new year, we might as well welcome powerful influences into our feeds and let some of that rub off on us as a representation of what's possible.

Learn from these incredible women how they showcase their Power Presence online.

You can do this too!

I compiled these power women's LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X accounts into a spreadsheet with their respective profiles hyperlinked so you can easily follow them.

Thank you to the ForbesWomen team for this powerful list of:

100 women
$33 trillion in economic power
1 billion+ people influenced by them (soon to be you included)

FACEBOOK: A new way affiliate links will be displayed on Facebook.

INSTAGRAM: Send me a DM! I was excited to see this feature. If you want someone to test it out on, schedule a message to my account @katiemckiever.

INSTAGRAM: A wrap-up of IG’s top new features of 2024.

INSTAGRAM: Overall, this update continues to enforce the fact that Instagram, and Meta for that matter, is doing everything possible to cater to Creators and to keep them making content on their apps. If you’re a business or don’t consider yourself in the “Creator” bucket, the more you create content like a Creator (Creator-like content?), the more success you’ll have on Instagram now and in the future.

LINKEDIN Becoming more visible helps you in SO many ways - including job opportunities.

LINKEDIN: I cover all these items at the beginning of my LinkedIn trainings/workshops. This is a nice refresher directly from the platform.

LINKEDIN: Have you noticed the giant videos on your feed and how much real estate some vertical videos are getting now, especially on the mobile app?

SOCIAL MEDIA: Reels has been a big driver of NASCAR’s growth this year.

SOCIAL MEDIA: Whether you do social media work for a large organization or solely manage your personal brand’s profiles, an annual audit is never a bad idea.

TIKTOK: In case TikTok sticks around.

TIKTOK: By the time you’re reading this newsletter, things might’ve changed, so feel free to google “TikTok” and see if there’s a significant recent update.
