As we step into 2025, we’re so excited to continue creating memorable experiences at Alpha and Omega Farm. This year, we’re celebrating everything local—utilizing homegrown products and supporting our vibrant community.

Special Events: Host your weddings, family reunions, graduation parties, or company picnics at our scenic farm.
Farm Stays: Our two cozy glamping tents will be in available for rentals, offering a unique farm-stay experience.
Pizza Nights: Thursdays will remain your favorite pizza night, with additional Saturdays and Sundays sprinkled in to make your weekends even better.
Hygge Crafting in the Summerhuis: Join us for hands-on workshops like embroidery, knitting, mending, and even crafting your own chunky blanket. Find joy in creating while connecting with others in our cozy Summerhuis.
Local Vendor Gatherings: We’re hosting informal meet-ups featuring local vendors and debuting some of our exciting new pizza ideas. It’s the perfect mix of community and delicious inspiration.

Gather at the ‘Huis’ Hygge Series
 
Join us on January 25th at Alpha and Omega Farm for our very first Hygge-inspired event, where we’ll celebrate the Danish art of creating warmth, comfort, and togetherness. Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”) is all about savoring life’s simple pleasures, and this event is designed to bring that cozy feeling to life!
Our first two sessions will include an embroidery lesson where you’ll craft your own custom tea towel—a charming keepsake to treasure or gift.
 
Session Details | January 25th, 2025
Kids (Ages 8-15): 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM | Youth Tickets: $30, optional Adult Chaperone: $20 (no supplies) + tax
Adults: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM | Tickets: $60 + tax
Both sessions include light snacks and a cozy hot beverage.

Recipe of the Month
January is soup and stew season, and its one of our favorite family meals. 
Stew is a healthy and hearty way to warm up on a cold day.
 
Venison Stew
 makes about 2 quarts
 
Ingredients:
1 ½ pound venison roast, diced into 1" pieces
2 oz butter or lard
2 T olive oil
1 yellow onion - diced
1 T chopped garlic
Âź C flour
8 oz red wine
16 oz beef or chicken stock
4 medium potatoes - diced
4 carrots - diced
8 oz mushrooms - quartered
S&P to taste
Âź C tomato paste
Fresh parsley - diced
 
Recipe:
Brown venison in butter or lard, once cooked, remove meat and juices from the pan and set aside.
In the pan, add olive oil & onion, sautĂŠ' for 5 minutes.
Add flour to the onions and stir on medium heat until slightly brown. Add the wine, stock, meat, carrots and potatoes.
Cook on low heat until potatoes are tender. 
Add tomato paste and season to taste.
Bring stew to a light boil, toss in fresh parsley, and serve with some crusty sour dough
