Dear Friends of INEB
Thank you for being with us on the journey of 2024, we appreciate everyone in our network and each action taken towards making a better society.

Hozan Alan Senauke (1947- December 22nd 2024) was a dear INEB Kalayana mitta, Abbot of the Berkeley Zen Center and a prominent socially-engaged Buddhist activist for many decades.

“Hozan cultivated interfaith partnerships and a new generation of leadership, supporting women teachers and helping young and diverse practitioners take up Zen practice." (read more on Berkeleyside)
