Custom Italian Travel Planning for Unforgettable Moments
Beyond the arch
Ciao!

February - phew!!!  For the shortest month, it definitely packed a punch this year!

⭐Shortly after I hit send on the newsletter two weeks ago, I went live with my new website.  Did you take a peek yet?

⭐My family and I also spent the long President's Day weekend skiing with friends in Holliday Valley in Ellicottville, NY.  I got a recap of their ski trip to Cortina in the Dolomites that I pulled together last minute for them (reminder - I ALWAYS want to hear about your trip when you get home), and we started scheming a return visit with both families.  Skiing in Europe > skiing in the US.  That's just a fact.

⭐I've had more than a few supplier events this month connecting with sales teams and learning all about what's new with properties around the world, but mostly in Italy: Rocco Forte, Hassler Rome, and Leading Hotels of the World to name a few.

Let me just add that Hassler Rome gifted drinking straws made from Murano glass that are so amazing and also happen to be the regular drinking straws at the bar of the hotel. I don't normally recommend booking a hotel because of the STRAWS, but then again, I've never had a Murano glass straw before, and I'm obsessed, so…

⭐But as usual, the bulk of my time is spent working on your trips!  Just this month, we've been designing:

📍A family spring break trip to Rome and Florence in March
📍A honeymoon in Lake Como, Lake Garda and Milan in May
📍A two week family trip to Sicily in June
📍A family trip to Rome, Florence & Venice in June
📍A milestone birthday celebration to Tuscany, including the beaches, in August
📍Hotel selections for another honeymoon to Porto Ercole, Florence and the countryside outside of Siena in September.

Almost all of these clients are going to Italy for the very 1st time, and I couldn't be more excited for them!

🌋 Any guesses as to what an article titled “Volcanic Drama and Tuna Feasts" might be about?

📝 I joke that I'm an Après Ski Instructor, but at least now I have a little bit of street cred.

🚶 I'll probably never add this as specific itinerary item, but you should definitely do it every day while you're in Italy.

🍴 The dictionary you didn't know you needed until know.

Whether you're looking for the classic recipe or a more innovative version, The Negroni: A Love Affair with a Classic Cocktail has all the info you need to mix your own version of my favorite cocktail.  Cheers!

Just Booked
Cape of Senses is perched up on the hillside overlooking Lake Garda on its eastern shore meaning it faces west - promising incredible sunsets.  This is a property all about wellness and spa, but it's still Italy, so there are incredible cocktails, food and wine as well.

What makes it really great is the easy access to golfing, hiking, watersports, and cultural excursions to Verona and Milan, making it perfect for travelers who want both relaxation and adventure at their own pace.

Ciao for now!
