Temperature Quilts - Choosing Fabrics

Creating a temperature quilt is a fun and meaningful way to capture the highs and lows of the year through fabric and color.

If you’re new to this type of quilting project, it involves assigning a color to specific temperature ranges and sewing a block each day or week based on the recorded temperature. The result? A beautiful, personalized keepsake that visually tells the story of a year’s weather patterns.

I’ve been thinking about doing a Mystery Quilt for a couple of years now – but the time just wasn’t right. The stars have aligned, and I’ve decided that 2025 is the year of the Quiltblox Mystery Quilt!

Get all the details for Quilt Shows, Shop Hops, and Celebrate Quilting Days on the Quiltblox Event Calendar. Thanks so much to everyone who sent me info about an event - I'm working on getting them all added to the list. Check the Calendar often; there's something fun to attend - nearly every month of 2025!

Thank you so much for being part of this Quiltblox Creative Community!

You inspire me to keep creating and I appreciate your support!

I hope you have some fun projects in the works! I'd love to see them - we're sharing our projects most Fridays on the Quiltblox Facebook Page (and celebrating each other's finishes!). Post a picture or two and let's celebrate you!

Until next time … Happy Stitching!
