Greece captivates visitors with its seamless blend of ancient wonders and Mediterranean charm. From the iconic Acropolis towering over Athens' bustling streets to the sun-drenched islands scattered across the Aegean Sea, this timeless destination offers an unforgettable journey through history, culture, and natural beauty. Begin your Greek adventure in Athens, where classical ruins stand alongside vibrant neighborhoods filled with art galleries, traditional tavernas, and modern cafes. The Plaka district, with its narrow cobblestone streets and neoclassical architecture, provides an authentic glimpse into Greek daily life.

 

Venture beyond the mainland to discover the Greek islands, each with its own distinct character. Santorini's white-washed buildings cascade down volcanic cliffs, creating the perfect backdrop for legendary sunsets over the caldera, while Crete combines rich mythology with exceptional hiking trails and some of the Mediterranean's finest beaches. For a more laid-back experience, consider the lesser-known Cycladic islands like Milos or Folegandros, where pristine beaches and authentic Greek hospitality await without the crowds. The shoulder seasons of spring and fall offer ideal conditions for exploring Greece, with comfortable temperatures and fewer tourists, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the country's archaeological sites, engage with local communities, and savor experiences like olive oil tastings or traditional cooking classes.

This carefully curated Australian and New Zealand adventure will take them from Melbourne's vibrant laneways to Tasmania's rugged charms, and onward to witness the spiritual majesty of Uluru at sunset. They'll explore the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns, experience the legacy of Steve Irwin at the renowned Australia Zoo in the Sunshine Coast, and experience Sydney's iconic harbor views. The journey culminates in New Zealand's South Island, where Queenstown's alpine thrills and Milford Sound's dramatic fjords await. This itinerary showcases what I do best - creating personalized experiences that capture the essence of a destination while catering to each family member's interests. This itinerary holds a special place in my heart too because Australia and New Zealand was where I studied abroad many moons ago. Ready to plan your own Down Under adventure? When entering any new country for the first time on your journey, allow ample connection time - I recommend at least 3 hours. You'll need to clear immigration, collect and recheck bags, and pass through security before continuing to your next flight. Remember, these entry procedures apply even if you're just connecting through to another destination (such as first point of entry for the European Schengen Region), so a generous time buffer can save you from unnecessary stress and potential missed connections.
