A recent review by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explores how Dutch policies align with global efforts to tackle food security, water, and climate challenges in low- and middle-income countries. The evaluation acknowledges the effectiveness of Dutch food security and water policies in achieving positive outcomes for target beneficiaries but notes challenges in ensuring long-term sustainability and scaling results post-funding. The report further highlights the interconnectedness of food security, water management and climate and underscores the need for coherent, systems-based policies that integrate the three domains in order to achieve sustainable outcomes.
