We’re reminded again that a house that prays together, stays together and it’s our sincere desire to surrender our plans to God and allow Him to be the director of our steps. 
 
 
Then, He will establish the work of our hands.

an event that we are always so excited and expectant for.

We currently have 3 precious ladies in our Restoration Programme, 
each on their own journey towards wholeness and independence. 
STEPPING BACK - MOVING FORWARD
 
One lady, who was already well on her way, has decided to take the brave step of returning to rehab to address some lingering strongholds that are holding her back in her healing. We are so proud of her for acknowledging the help she needs and trusting God to complete the deep work within her and to help her to make lasting changes.   
STEADY PROGRESS - ONE STEP AT A TIME
 
Another lady in the programme, who is due to have a baby in February, is doing remarkably well. She managed to find employment with a leading online company and is flourishing on all fronts, personally and professionally. It’s so encouraging to see someone make such strides forward in such a short space of time.  
A GIANT LEAP AHEAD
 
 
Another lady in our care, who qualified as an advanced caregiver, has started up a few small businesses in response to the needs she’s seen in her community including afterschool care, advanced caregiving, office support services and cleaning services. We’re currently helping her set up a professional website to boost her services and business ventures. Please pray for God’s blessing on all her efforts.

CHERISHED JHB NORTH
 
God opened up some very special moments of real connection with the ladies, particularly on the team’s first outreach of the quarter. They even had an impromtu “mini-Bible study” in one venue, going deep into God’s free gift of salvation and then praying with ladies to accept Jesus. At one venue, God singled out a particular lady, who was hurting deeply, with the message that she will still see the goodness of God in the land of the living. They could see the Lord moving in her heart. A number of other ladies expressed a desire to leave the industry completely, including a
 
lady who feels she needs to go to a particularly rough community to spread His word. How amazing! Two praise reports were that the team was allowed access to a venue that they had been blocked from for some time; and that many women are leaving a particularly popular venue as things have been very quiet there…
 
We’re trusting that the venue will close their doors eventually.
CHERISHED EAST RAND
 
God moved incredibly over the two outreaches in the East Rand and lives were deeply impacted. The team met a lady who was so desperate to receive Jesus and they took her through the steps of what that meant. Once she fully understood, she willingly accepted Him as her Lord and Saviour! Her whole face changed and she was so excited. How precious to witness His daughter cross the line of faith and come back home. The team 
 
was, however, deeply struck by the hopelessness and desperation of some and our need for God to move and provide in powerful ways to meet each one. 
 
But we know that God’s heart for the lost and broken is much bigger than ours could ever be and…
 
He will make a way for everyone who cries out to Him.
 
"May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our 
hands for us yes, establish the work of our hands.”- Psalm 90:17
