This month we've been working with several clients on finding that perfect paint color. Choosing paint can be super overwhelming and there are a lot of things to consider. A few things to think about:
Lighting changes everything. Natural and artificial lighting can dramatically change the color, especially during different times in the day and especially with certain colors - gray, I'm talking to you!
Undertones matter. They can really affect how a color looks once it's up on the wall. You want it to work with your room (and its fixtures and furnishings), not against it.
Timeless always wins over trendy. Trends will come and go so stick with what reflects your own personal style and works with your home, not with what works on Pinterest or in design magazines.
Our goal at DH Designs is to keep our business practices streamlined, transparent and as straightforward as possible, making it easy and enjoyable to work together throughout the design process.
We're always looking for ways to improve your experience working with us so this year we're using a new software program for billing, invoicing, and project management. It will be a learning curve for sure but our hope is that it's a streamlined way to track the project status in your own client portal and pay with new online payment options.
We're kicking off the new year with a new member to our team {more to come next month} and some fun new projects that we'll be sharing on our social media as we're able - these include kitchen and bath remodels, a beautiful and functional home office re-design, and refreshing homes for a few new homeowners to give a clean, polished look to their new spaces.
