Welcome to Ocean Hills LIving | 02.2025
We always say that neighbors are some of the most important relationships you can have in your life. They are also a little too easy to take for granted. So, this month - we are focusing on the love of neighbors.

What can we do to strengthen the connections we have with those in closest proximity to us?

So many of our closest friends are people we originally met as neighbors. Neighborhoods just have a way of bringing like-minded folks together. At the same time, it's often people you would never have met otherwise.

One of the best things about living in a neighborhood is sharing resources. Sometimes it's something small like borrowing a cup of sugar, a lemon or a drill. Sometimes it's a lot more important…like dealing with an emergency.

Watching everything that happened with the L.A. fires this past month - serves as a great reminder that investing in your neighborhood connections is worth the effort. In a time of need, it is those people in closest proximity that matter the most. That's what community is all about.

If you haven't taken a moment lately to connect with your neighbors, February is a great time to do it. Drop off a Valentine's Day treat or just do something nice to show your appreciation. Spread a little kindness and make a small investment in keeping your neighborhood relationships intact.

PRO TIP: A good neighbor is a priceless treasure. (Chinese Proverb)
