That's what I get for not being patient and waiting ‘til the last day of couture shows! Because Miss Sohee is always gonna deliver! The shimmery fabrics, detailed embroidery, form-fitting bodices, the DRAMA of it all. Every time I see her looks coming down the runway, I imagine mermaids doing an underwater runway. Do you guys remember her first collection called Haenyeo dedicated to the women deep sea divers of Jeju? Consistently gorgeous and can't help but think how much fun (and hard) it must be to work in an atelier like this! 🧜🏾♀️🧚🏽

Hah we all consider as brands but the economics don't work out. I was excited when a US-based factory wanted to partner with us in 2021 but then they quoted us 2500-3000 USD for a single sample sneaker! Still more affordable to work overseas with freight/customs & duties accounted for. 🥲 Oh and the quality! After seeing some of the work in US factories, they will need to build-in an apprenticeship program for their teams because European craftsmanship is unmatched. A lot of long-term investments needed to make it work that I just don't see a lot of folks doing quite yet.
