Remember the simple days? The ones where you had a favorite bathing suit that you wore all summer long? You’d hang it out to dry, and it would be ready to go again the next day.

Well, the one-suit days are over and summer now means changing your bathing suit every few hours. The pressure drove me from J.Crew’s excellent collection to Eres, and I never looked back.

But in my defense, Eres’s classic styles don’t go out of fashion — they just get better.

Mercifully, Eres is having a sale right now, but you need to act fast. The sale ends September 16, so if you’ve been feeling the pressure too, GO!

I’ve been a fan of BDDW since the company first opened its doors in Soho. Its furniture is where craftsmanship meets art with a dash of quirk. A gorge standing lamp in my home is a testament to my devotion.

Then I discovered that BDDW holds auctions. The rush of adrenaline you get from bidding on a gorgeous couch that originally costs $X,000 and is suddenly a deal is nothing short of addictive.

Just be warned: This is not Ikea, and once you start, it’s hard to stop looking. Feel free to buy me something!

I love sending notes and have fun picking out a stamp from my collection. (Now I am on my Betty White sheet.)

The USPS is holding a contest to bring back a classic stamp, and I’ve already cast my ballot for the incomparable Mr. Rogers. Honestly, who else embodies pure goodness on a stamp?

Vote for your favorite before September 30! An election we can all feel good about, free from chaos and melodrama.

Oh, darlings. I know, I know. We all have those things that we just can’t seem to let go of. But what if I told you it’s time to break that pattern? The Methaphone might just be the detox we need to unclaw our hands from our phones and reclaim our lives.
