I sincerely apologize for missing two issues of the newsletter, which is published every Monday.
Japan is full of delicious foods. This time, I visited a friend in Matsuyama, took a short trip to Dogo Onsen for one night and two days, and had a fulfilling journey both physically and mentally. However, after returning home, I suffered from jet lag and caught a cold, so I took some time to rest and recover.
As the saying goes, “Fortunes and misfortunes are intertwined like a rope.” Every experience has something to teach us. Catching a cold for the first time in years reminded me just how important good health is. Taking this as an opportunity, I plan to be more mindful of maintaining a balanced diet, as we always recommend at Harmonious Kitchen, and will actively incorporate more fermented foods into my meals—especially to support gut health.
With this in mind, I look forward to nourishing both body and soul, one meal at a time.
