The Vivo Bambino program brought music to life for 4- and 5-year-olds at the Baldwin Music Education Center as part of their Encounters class. Led by Melissa Surman, the children engaged in physical and vocal warm-ups, learned call-and-response and echo songs, and listened to recordings of the Cincinnati Youth Choir. They also explored vowels, proper singing posture, and solfege, all while having fun with music. It was a joyful introduction to music that sparked their creativity and set the foundation for future learning.
