TNO and the national Dutch sustainable hydrogen program GroenvermogenNL have agreed to cooperate in the field of electrolysis. A joint meeting on February 6 marked the start of a multi-year program focused on accelerating innovation and scaling up. This will take place in an open innovation center for electrolyzer development, starting with a facility for endurance testing.

On January 27, a kick-off meeting at TNO’s Faraday Lab in Petten, the Netherlands, marked the start of a cooperation with Toshiba Europe. In the coming months, Toshiba’s low-iridium membrane electrode assembly for PEM electrolyzers will undergo high-pressure testing in Petten to validate the performance under industrially relevant conditions.
