Her Valor: Honoring Women Veterans from 9am to 3pm at the South County Government Center in Alexandria, VA. This event celebrates the services of women veterans and provides resources to support their well-being. Britepaths will be offering free financial counseling and hosting financial workshops throughout the day to help veterans take charge of their financial futures. Join us for a day of empowerment, community, and support. All veterans are welcome!

Pathfinder Kitchen is an opportunity to learn culinary arts skills, find joy or a new career in the kitchen, and receive a free ServSafe certification. The program provides participants with hands-on culinary training, professional development, and essential certifications for working in restaurants/bars/other food service places. 
Learn more with an in-person information session at Anna Sudha Community Kitchens located in the lower level of Dulles Town Center, 21100 Dulles Town Circle, Suite 190, Sterling, VA 20166. Use the entrance between Dick’s and Macy’s, and you will find Anna Sudha on the right as you enter.

  • Verify – If someone calls claiming to be from your bank or a government agency, hang up and call back using the official number from their website.
  • Use Strong Passwords – Use unique, complex passwords for each account and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) whenever possible.
  • Monitor Your Accounts – Regularly check bank and credit card statements for unauthorized transactions.
  • Shred Documents – Shred bank statements, bills, or other personal documents.
  • Avoid Public Wi-Fi – Avoid accessing sensitive accounts on public Wi-Fi.
