February 7, 2025
Hi, friends . . .

It's another fun weekend at Bella! With Valentine's Day approaching, we've got love on our mind. Not the romantic love (eros), but we are celebrating the love we have for our family and friends (philos).

There's another kind of love - agape love. It's an unconditional love that only God demonstrates perfectly. Agape love is not a feeling, it's an action. He uses us as vessels to show that kind of love to everyone in our lives - even those who are hard to love.

To celebrate love in its many forms, we have something special this weekend at Bella. We have the makings for special valentines:
*pretty heart-shaped, plantable seed paper that can be slipped inside a card
*make your own cards with handmade papers
*dairy-free chocolates
*heart stickers from Emily Lex
*hand stitched ‘You are so loved’ embroidery from @stitchnthriftbyTia.

We'll be sampling the Rose Drinking Chocolate from Elements Truffles on Saturday and Sunday. It's delicious and dairy free. And the Botanical Bath Salt Make & Take Bar is set up if you want to pamper yourself a little, too.

Our open hours continue to be Fridays & Saturdays 10-4, and Sundays 11-4 in the month of February. Come on out for a visit this weekend. We'd love to see you, and we so appreciate it when you bring someone new to Bella.

So here is the challenge that lays before each of us - how can you show grace and unconditional love to someone today? I hope you'll join me in being that vessel of agape love.

Blessings on your day.

February is an interesting month for decorating. It's too early for spring decor, and evergreen branches may be an unwelcome reminder of winter. Add some greenery to a vase with our faux olive stems.

We welcome two new local makers to Bella:
The adorable amigurumi animals are made by Mary Peck of Burlington, and the cute baby denim with hand-embroidery is by Tia Hankwitz of Pewaukee.
Be sure to take a look upstairs in the kids' loft next time you are here!
