Removal of Health Information from HHS, CDC, FDA Websites
Represented by Public Citizen Litigation Group, Doctors for America filed a lawsuiton February 4, 2025, against the Office of Personnel Management (OPM), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) for the removal of a broad range of health-related data and other information used by health professionals and researchers from publicly accessible government websites.
The complaint explains that the removal of key webpages and datasets creates a dangerous gap in the scientific data available to monitor and respond to disease outbreaks, deprives physicians of resources that guide clinical practice, and takes away key resources for communicating and engaging with patients.
YOUR HELP is needed to identify webpages and datasets that CDC and FDA removed from their websites. Please clickhere to describe the pages and to share your stories about how the loss of access to the webpages and datasets has affected you. Please share this request with friends and colleagues, as we want to identify as many of the removed pages as possible so that Public Citizen can make sure that the agencies restore them, as ordered by the judge.
