I’ve been thinking about all the great travel moments that defined 2024—both my own trips to Botswana, Portugal, the Canadian Maritimes, Iceland and all the unforgettable vacations I was lucky enough to plan for clients.
With 2025 travel planning well under way, I am so excited about what’s to come. From my personal travels to the vacations I’m creating for clients, 2025 is already shaping up to be full of fun and adventure!
To spark your wanderlust and keep the momentum going, I’m sharing a peek into what’s on the books—my own getaways and a few client favorites.
What are your travel ideas for the year ahead?
If something here catches your eye, I’m just a reply away. Let’s make your 2025 unforgettable 🥂
Some housekeeping:
I will be attending a conference and meeting with some of my in-country suppliers in France from March 23-April 5.
If you have a trip in mind lets talk about it now. Hit “reply” and we can hop on a call.
I will not be able to effectively start new assignments during this time period…. and before you know it, summer will be here!

My Travel Plans
WHERE I'M GOING IN 2025
East Africa June
Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar here we come. I will be hosting a safari in Kenya in early June. After that, we are headed to Tanzania and Zanzibar. While Sam is sitting on the beach in Zanzibar ( cocktail in hand) I will be checking out all the fantastic resorts on this beautiful island. Stay tuned, I will be sharing loads of photos on Instagram and Facebook.
For all of you thinking there is a safari in your future, it is now time to plan for 2026.
Japan November
We are off to hike from Kyoto to Tokyo on the historic Nakasendō Route, established during the Edo period.. The Nakasendō was a mountainous inland route that once connected Kyoto with Edo (present-day Tokyo). It will be chilly in the mountains, but each night we will stay at a different hotel with an onsen, which means “hot spring” and is a traditional geothermal bathing facility. Add in post hike massages and sushi…I can't wait!
You can find me at our local Y on the Stairmaster and treadmill, I am NOT in shape for this.

WHERE MY CLIENTS ARE GOING
The Amalfi Coast
Starting in scenic Naples and visiting the wonderful towns of Sorrento, Positano, Ravello and the Island of Capri. Great food, wine, cooking classes, beach clubs, boat days and private tours of Pompeii round out these great itineraries.
Wine, wine, wine!
Girls trip to Oregon's Willamette Valley and California's Sonoma wine country. Complete with private drivers, vineyard lunches, spa appointments and fabulous hotels. Dinner reservations have been made for every night, and the trip will end in San Francisco.
This has been my favorite trip to plan this year, I wish I was going along!
Costa Rica
Costa Rica for Thanksgiving!
If you have been thinking that getting out of town over the holidays sounds just about right this year, the time to plan it is RIGHT NOW!
As in right this minute, decent availability for the Festive Season goes fast. And so do flights.
France
France seems to be on everyone's list this year. It is always on mine.
I have numerous clients headed to Paris this year, all with a variety of intriguing activities planned. Everything from “Emily in Paris” to trips to the Normandy Beaches and Brittany. Add in private boats on the Seine (with Champagne) and lots more!
