🦸🏼 2. Be specific about parent ambassador asks.
Current parents want to help out. Use them! But remember, not all parent ambassadors are created equal. Some are super encouraging on the phone; others will post on social media; others will stake out prospective student houses and tell you more than you need to know.
Here's what to do:
✔️ Make a list of wish list tasks (e.g. calls, social media posts, Starbucks visits);
✔️ Make a list of parents who have offered to help with recruitment;
✔️ Pair up the best ambassador for each task.
Taking 10 minutes to do this will yield higher quality results.

🎯 3. Get specific with your events
Are you holding information sessions by community or interest group? If you're not yet, get started. This approach allows you to tailor your message for different groups (or market segments).
There is a big difference between:
Join us for an information session
And
Come join our team! Information session for student athletes!
Launch into High School with us! Join our STEM session this weekend!
If you're recruiting from a large geographic area or low on funds, use technology to help you. Virtual information sessions are incredibly powerful.
