PARIS & BEYOND
We have seen an uptick in girls' trips around here! Everything from milestone birthday celebrations to mommy reprieve getaways to boomers whose husbands would prefer to stay at home. Women know that the best bonding is done through shared experience, whether a private fashion atelier afternoon in Paris designing custom dresses, or a deep dive zen retreat in Bali. TS's Hilary recently experienced this first-hand on an epic girls' trip to Paris where she met the master sculptor behind Notre Dame's restoration, explored secret rooms in a privately owned chateau, and toasted many years of friendship over champagne and escargot (of course, fortifying TS's VIP access along the way).
Charlie went with Dad (Darren our founder!) on the ultimate rugby experience, meeting his heroes face-to-face. For those of us who grew up in the States, this is like having a private practice session with Brady, Mahomes, and Kelce. Charlie got to spend time on the pitch with Siya Kolisi (Springbok captain & world icon), Eben Etzebeth (South Africa’s most capped Springbok of all time), Pieter-Steph du Toit (World Rugby Player of the Year), and Ox Nche, who Darren says is the most feared scrummager in the sport. This was way more than a trip to Allianz for a game! The best travel stories aren’t just about where you go—they’re about the legends you might meet along the way. This father-son trip was one for the books.
