Impact Report
Hello dear friends,

It’s been a busy few weeks as our team on the ground works hard to implement our new strategic plan! As we prioritize our post-harvest education programs and integrating improved grain and staple crop storage curriculums we are expanding the reach of our programs throughout Northern Uganda.

Last week Betty and Mukutari met with 23 new farming groups to discuss post-harvest crop loss reduction strategies in the wake of massive cuts to food rations and aid for refugees. Our work is more important than ever and we are so grateful for your generosity. You truly are making a difference!

IN THE NEWS
USAID FREEZE
The freeze on USAID funding has had a significant impact on vulnerable people and refugees all over the world. In Uganda, food rations in the refugee settlements have been cut as well as other critical programs for development, particularly in the areas of food insecurity, healthcare services, employment and livelihood initiatives and education. Our team has informed us that there have been significant layoffs of local aid workers with many organizations packing up and leaving altogether. As we continue to navigate these new developments your support is more crucial than ever.
Thank you for
making a difference!

with love
